Mike brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to his role as Director of Openings & Transitions. Before taking on this position, he served as Complex General Manager at both Hotel Interurban and Hotel Indigo, and as Area Manager for Columbia Hospitality. Throughout his career, Mike has been extensively involved in new openings, renovation and rebranding projects, and property transitions.

Prior to joining Columbia Hospitality, Mike worked with a variety of hotels, ranging from luxury boutique resorts to large downtown convention hotels in Washington and California. He has also contributed to regional LTAC committees and served as President of the Snohomish County Tourism Promotion Area board.

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Mike lives north of Seattle with his wife and two children. He holds a degree of Business Administration with a minor in Economics from St. Mary’s College of California. In his free time, Mike is an avid Seattle sports fan, enjoys golfing, and loves exploring the natural beauty of the PNW.
