As Senior Director of Learning & Development, Kristen leads professional development initiatives that strengthen service culture and grow internal talent across the organization. She partners closely with operational leaders to build clear development pathways, elevate performance practices, and prepare the next generation of hospitality leaders. Her approach blends business strategy with human-centered design, ensuring learning experiences are practical, engaging, and aligned with what adult learners need most.

Kristen is a graduate of Seattle University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing from Otis College of Art & Design, a unique background that reflects both her analytical mindset and her love of storytelling. She is equal parts artist and scientist, and believes that great leadership is built through curiosity, courage, and a willingness to keep learning.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys painting, hiking with her husband and two pups, tending her garden, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts about everything from Greek mythology to behavioral psychology. She takes her work seriously — just not herself.
